Taking our name from our lovable, though snoozy, beagle pal, Lyle, we are a Minneapolis-based creative services business offering writing, editing, 3D illustration, animation and motion graphics.

Meleah Maynard is a journalist in Minneapolis. Because she has always been curious about just about everything, she writes about pretty much everything, too. But if she really must choose a few favorite subjects, she'd go with gardening, science, nature and health. She also likes writing profiles because she never ceases to be amazed by people's personal stories.

Her articles on everything from growing azaleas and orchids to recovering stolen antiquities in Iraq to how to cook chicken on a beer can have appeared in regional and national publications, including the History Channel Magazine, Garden, Deck & Landscape, City Pages, Midwest Home, Gardening How-To and Remodel. She has also worked regularly as a copywriter and copyeditor for Target Corporation. She is a Master Gardener and a member of the Garden Writers Association and the American Society of Journalists and Authors.

Mike Hoium has worked for more than a decade creating 3D and 2D illustrations and animations for a variety of clients. Using 3D software such as Cinema4D, Mike has worked on projects including print publications, 3D technical and instructional illustration and animation, 3D product visualization, motion graphics, interactive CD/DVD titles and web development.
