While working on Target’s Storytelling Campaign, Meleah traveled around the country interviewing artists, teachers, students, playwrights, social service workers, scholarship winners, librarians and many others who had received grants or other types of funding from Target. Using the material she gathered, Meleah wrote stories about the affect Target giving had on people’s projects and their lives. Paired with a photo, the stories were part of a national ad campaign demonstrating the impact of Target’s community giving. View PDF >

In addition to researching and writing short, informative pieces on topics like backyard grilling, holiday decorating and how to improve indoor air quality, Meleah has written catalog copy for products featured in several of Meredith’s special interest publications. Some of those titles include: Cook’s Shop, All-Time Favorite Soups & Stews, Santa Claus Shop and Our Best Holiday Menus.

After gathering stories from Target employees in Arkansas, Oregon and New Jersey, Meleah wrote the copy for internal brochures Target used to promote company-wide giving to United Way in 2006.

For MSP’s 2003 Home & Garden Show catalog, Meleah researched and wrote captions for photos of some of the most eye-catching landscape plants being featured at the show.

Meleah is a frequent contributor to publications of the College of St. Catherine. Working with the college’s communications director and development office, she interviews, researches and writes copy for St. Catherine’s newsletters, alumni magazine and website.
